The disease registry quick list allows you to add frequently used icd9 codes/ conditions to a list that can be easily accessed from the disease registry page. This list helps you save time when adding entries to the disease registry section of patients’ eCharts.
Creating a Quick List
Disease registry quick lists are created in the Administration panel.
To access the Administration panel in the Classic UI, click on the "Administration" link at the top of the schedule page.
To access the Administration panel in the Juno UI, click on “Admin” at the top of the schedule page. The Admin tab may be hidden under the “More” option if you are using Juno with a smaller screen display, click on “More”, then click on “Admin” from the dropdown.
In the Admin panel, click on "System Management" in the menu on the left, then select the "Customize Disease Registry Quick List" link from the dropdown.
To add a quick list, click on the "Add New Quick List" button.
Enter a name for the quick list in the “New quick list name” field, then click on the “Continue” button.
To add a condition to the list, enter the condition in the input field on the left, you can;
Enter a keyword for the condition in the search field, then follow the steps detailed below.
Enter the condition into the input field.
Click on the "Code Search" button at the bottom.
The ICD-9 Code Search page will populate a list of matching conditions, click on the checkbox beside a condition to select it.
Click on the "Confirm" button at the bottom of the list(see image). This converts the search keyword(condition) into its corresponding "ICD-9 code".
Enter the "ICD-9" code for the condition in the search field, then click on the “Add” button at the center to add the condition to the 'Quick List Items' on the right, or
Click on the "Add" button at the center to add the condition to the 'Quick List Items' on the right.
Conditions added to the list are populated in the 'Quick List items' box on the right.
To remove a condition from the list, click on the condition in the "Quick List Items" box to highlight it, then click on the "Remove" button at the center.
You can enter up to five (5) conditions or ICD-9 codes into the search fields on the left at a time (one condition per search field).
When adding multiple conditions at one time, on the ICD-9 code search page, click on the checkboxes for all the conditions matching all the search criteria entered, to select them before clicking on the “Confirm” button. This converts the search keyword(condition) into its corresponding "ICD-9 code".
Click on the "Add" button at the center to add all the icd9 codes in the search field on the left to the 'Quick List Items' on the right.
Note that only users with admin access can create quick lists.
