Updating the patient information on a new or rejected invoice is a two step process. First update the patient record and second reload the patient information into the invoice.

Changing the Patient information on 1 Invoice:

Use this method if you wish to change the patient's information permanently on the patient record and change the patient information on the invoice.

To do so follow these steps:

1. Go to the ClinicAid “Manage Patient” section in the left hand menu, search for the patient, click the blue edit pencil icon to the far right of the patient record, update the patient information, and click the blue “Update Patient” button in the top right.

2. Go to the ClinicAid “Manage Invoice” section in the left hand menu, search for the invoice, click the blue edit pencil icon to the far right of the invoice, and click on the “Reload patient information into invoice” button in the Patient Information box header near the top right.

Please note, you can also change the patient information per claim but this will not change the patient information in the patient record for future claims.

Changing the Patient information on multiple Invoices:

If you wish to change more than one invoice at a time you can update the patient record, select the invoices, mass edit, and reprocess the patient.

To do so follow these steps:

1. If you are only updating 1 invoice, go to the ClinicAid “Manage Patient” section in the left hand menu, search for the patient, click the blue edit pencil icon to the far right of the patient record, update the patient information, and click the blue “Update Patient” button in the top right.

2.  Go to the ClinicAid “Manage Invoice” section and select the claims by clicking on the box to the far left of the claims. This will put a check mark in the box to select it.

3. Click the blue “Mass Edit” button in the bottom left corner.

4.  Select “Re-Process Patient”, save, and send.

Please note, you can also change the patient information per claim but this will not change the patient information in the patient record for future claims.
